Roof/Floor Truss and Wall Panel Assemblers

Description

The positions are to assemble wood framed structural members of houses, apartments, hotels and other types of buildings. To be an employee at S.R. Sloan, Inc. you must be a hardworking and a reliable person that is willing to show up every day with a good work ethic. Your job duties will include placing cut lumber and connector plates in position on assembly tables, hammering plates, and banding complete trusses, and catching sawn lumber off the saw. You may also be framing walls together on assembly tables with nail guns, cutting sheathing, nailing wood components together with a nail gun, or stacking the wall panels.

Hours

Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Mon – Fri and sometimes Sat’s from 7:00am – 12:00pm

Night Shift – 3:30 PM to 2:30 AM

Pay

Day Shift $17/hr

Night Shift $17/hr+$1 differential

With applicable experience on equipment and in the industry, you may be able to start higher!

Requirements

• High School education or GED
• Physically capable of handling 2×4 to 2×10 lumber up to 16’ long
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Capability to get here on time, every day
• Communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check & drug test
